It's Amazing

Isn't it amazing
How we do not take life so seriously
We sit down
We make plans
We just get on with it

Isn't it amazing
How we pretend that all is well
And go on to encourage others that all is well
When all isn't so well
How we laugh
How we just sing
As if everything is alright

Isn't it amazing
How when one is born
We celebrate
And when one dies
We mourn like nobody's business
And then after a while we just get on with it

It's so hard
It's heart breaking
But we get on with it anyway

How in times of sorrow
And in times of joy,
We just face it head on
And just get on with it
As if nothing happenned
Honestly!!

I am just fed up with all the pretence
Instead of just getting on with it
I am choosing to do something about it
I will not just manage and pretend
Or just get on with it
I will stand
I will pray
And watch them situations change for the better
